CSM Gilbert was a legend in the Ranger Community where he served in multiple Ranger units to include L Co 75th Inf Rangers in Vietnam. He was also the Ranger Department Command Sergeant Major under Colonel Grange in the early 1970's. He had a long association with the Ranger Hall of Fame where he was also an inductee. RLTW! |

The task was to tear down an old and damaged fence and build a new 600 foot barbed wire fence. Today would have been Byrons birthday and this week will be his Memorial dedication. I have to believe Byron would be proud of the Ranger turnout, and unbelievable effort to help one of our own. I know I am proud of all who gave time, effort, and materials to make this happen. Rangers helping Rangers: that's the standard. |
