Several of us had the privilege of meeting with Stephen Johnstone and members of the Children of the American Revolution on Wednesday evening. Stephen, along with Mission 22 representative, Marty Devine put together the recent Hero Hill Climb conducted on Memorial Day. It was a walk, run, bike event from Camp Merrill to Cooper Gap honoring our fallen veterans. The USMRA was chosen as a benefactor of a portion of the proceeds raised at the event. We appreciate the hard work in conducting the event and the generosity in presenting a sizable donation to the association.
