We look forward to seeing everyone at 1700 on 28 April. T-shirts will be available for $20, and we are raffling a multitude of items (weapons, date-night events, jewelry and more) - 1 ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $20.

Message: 2023 USMRA Scholarship Awardees

While it is always a pleasure for us to review each applicant’s credentials at this time of year, there is also a regret knowing that only two applicants may be selected. Reading through each application always helps us to obtain a greater confidence not only in their futures, but that of our Country, as well. These are all fine young people with different goals and joys, but everyone of them deserves some recognition for the excellence each has displayed not only in their academic achievements but in their devotion to service to and for their fellow man.

Upon review of the applications for this year’s awards, we submit the following winners:

Ashlyn E. Jewell

Kylie A. Brayman

Each of these young ladies will receive a $2000.00 scholarship award in recognition of their pursuit of excellence.

It is an honor for us to have served on the 2023 USMRA Scholarship Committee.

J.D. Kirby

Bill Poole

Ed Tinoco

Brian Cunningham

2023 is my final year serving as chairman of the USMRA scholarship committee. It has been a rewarding experience for me to coordinate all that goes into developing and implementing the many actions necessary for a successful annual scholarship program. My special thanks to those USMRA members who have been of such tremendous help over the years, most especially as application evaluators.

Finally, I wish to welcome Ed Tinoco who will replace me as committee chairman effective immediately.

Brian Cunningham, Chairman, USMRA Scholarship Committee, 2002 - 2023

As you may have read on Facebook, the Overhang at Camp Merrill experienced electrical issues a few weeks ago. The club is closed; however, we will conduct the 6 April USMRA meeting at 1900 on the covered deck. Beverages may be available but there will be no food, so bring your own burger. Join us as we make the final preparations for the 28 April Critter Cookout.
