Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Bob Suchke Message: MORE ON THE RI REUNION: Planning for next April is in very early stages; however, we do know that the official Best Ranger Competition will begin Friday, April 10th, 2015. The only known agenda item at this time is spending the day at Todd Field on Saturday typically followed by dinner at The Four Winds (Ranger Burger) which did indeed close. You may contact this email address at any time for questions/suggestions, etc. or contact me at 972-897-0121. Another POC for the reunion is Kestner JR Edens who currently resides in Cusseta and works at Ft. Benning. His email address is: jredens@bellsouth.net We would like to reach as many RI's as possible. If you are on facebook, we have created an event page for the reunion. Combined with the facebook account and this email account we try to disseminate information as best we can. We hope to get together for socializing after the DMOB ceremony Thursday evening, Friday night and of course after Todd field Saturday night. Please let us know what other information we can provide you to help us get the word out. Please remember this reunion event is open to all RI's, past and present. Please share this email address with others who may be interested and I will add their contact information to the distribution list for updates as they become available. Thank you! We appreciate your willingness to help us spread the word. Traditionally, we would like to get a group picture of all RI's present on Todd Field and after dinner Saturday. Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Mark Miller Message: I met Craig Polzin 30 years ago as a newbie RI. He turned out to be a good friend, a trusting professional and fun loving guy. After serving together he always managed to keep in touch with a visit every couple of years. He always called me 'Mark-Man," and I'm gonna miss him. |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Bob Suchke - Treasurer Message: I want to take this opportunity to recognize those Rangers who have recently made a most generous donation to the USMRA. Your contribution is very much appreciated and allows us to continue to give back to the Ranger Community. Our most sincere thanks and gratitude go out to: Earl Singletary Douglas MacArthur Perry John Jensen Ron Adams Steve Johnston Edward Fletcher Patrick Graves and several others who wish to remain anonymous. We still have Raffle Tickets available, but expect to be sold out soon. So keep sending in those donations, orders for USMRA coins and requests for Raffle Tickets. If you can, call your Ranger Buddy and let him know about the USMRA if he is not already a member. Thanks again Rangers! RLTW! |
