Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Willard Langdon Message: I visited today with Doug Perry at the Ronnie Green Heart Center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. He's doing well after quadruple heart bypass surgery yesterday morning. He looks well, has good color, and they may move him from CCU to a regular room tomorrow. If all goes well, he may go home Sunday, but most likely it will be Monday. Based on what he told me, he made it to the hospital just in time. He's in good spirits and wanted me to share this good news with others. RLTW |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Michael M. Keohane Message: The "head cutter" has declared me fully ambulatory so I will be attending the Ranger Muster in Savannah. However, I am still on medication and can't touch a drop of alcohol. I can be recognized by the slight gimp in my left leg and the diet soda in my hand. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends. |
